Effective October 11, 2026 · Applies to the StuffDNA iOS app and stuffdna.com
Help with getting started, AI scans, inventory, purchases, and account questions.
Getting started
Open StuffDNA on your iPhone, create an equipment profile, and enter the make/model details. Use Find Parts for troubleshooting suggestions or the repair tools to maintain its history.
Parts finder and AI scans
Enter a detailed problem description and confirm the equipment model. AI can suggest components to inspect, but cannot independently prove exact OEM fitment. Current AI scans use item text and your question, not item photographs.
Purchases, trials and refunds
Subscriptions and purchases are managed through Apple. For subscription changes, open iPhone Settings → your Apple Account → Subscriptions. To request an Apple refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com. If a verified purchase is not reflected in StuffDNA, contact support with the purchase date and Apple order reference; never share a payment-card number or password.
Missing records and device changes
Inventory, documents and scan results are stored locally on your device by default. Use available device backup options before deleting the app or switching phones. A reinstall may not automatically restore locally saved content or anonymous cloud scan balances.
